Industry-Based Safety Programs

Responding to the needs of industry

Industry-based safety programs (IBSPs) provide relevant, customized services that respond to the diverse needs, hazards, and risks specific to an industry classification with in-depth understanding and targeted strategies to support safe, productive workplaces. These programs provide valuable services that make it easier for employers and employees to receive safety and health information, resources, and training tailored to the hazards and risks of their specific industry.  RPM: Trucking Industry Safety has been a member of the IBSP program since 2015.

The WCB of Manitoba has recognized the value of IBSPs and is planning to increase the number of employers eligible to receive services from IBSPs.

The IBSP Council was created to enable existing and future industry‐based safety programs to focus efforts toward collaboration, coordination, and resource sharing to advance policies and strategies associated with workplace injury prevention, safe & early return to work and effective operation of industry-based safety programs in Manitoba.

As a member of the IBSP Council, RPM: Trucking Industry Safety is pleased to work and collaborate with the following IBSPs in Manitoba:
